C. William Barnhill, CCIM, PhD., has been involved in the Commercial Real Estate Business over 32 years, having specialized for the last 16 years in self storage. Dr. Barnhill holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investments Member designation and has simultaneously served on the board of directors of both aviation and marine related businesses. He is also past president of the Alabama CCIM Chapter and Alabama Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute. He is currently President of Omega Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate management and brokerage firm located in Mobile. Alabama.
Experience: As President and owner of Omega Properties, Inc. Dr. Barnhill has extensive experience in the development and management of self Storage facilities. He currently operates and manages seven self storage facilities with over 3,500 units and 506,475 square feet. He has brokered over $100 million in self storage transactions.

Bennett Driggers, Sr., B.B.A., J.D.

Mr. Driggers has spent 28 years in business management and started in the storage industry in 1995 at a two store operation with 860 units at 137,000 square feet. Over the next twelve years under his guidance as Company President the company grew to fourteen state of the art locations with 8285 units at 1,287,115 square feet of rentable space. In June of 2007 the company sold to Sovran Self Storage for $84,000,000.
As an Attorney Mr. Driggers has extensive experience in dealing with legal issues involving auctions, rental agreements and day-to-day operations to reduce the company’s exposure to legal action. Other experience includes, hiring and training, business development, feasibility and market analysis, site layout and development for new and existing locations, construction management, advertising and marketing, creating budgets and goals, controlling expenses, property maintenance, overseeing total day to day operations, computer installation, networking, trouble shooting and repair, setting company policy and procedures, and developed sales training manual used to train new and current employees.
Mr. Driggers received his Bachelors in Business Administration degree from Faulkner University in 1997, went on to obtain his Juris Doctor Degree from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama in December 2000 and was admitted by the Alabama State Bar Association in May 2001.
Allen Barnhill, M.B.A.

Allen Barnhill has over 20 years experience in real estate investment and self storage. As a partner in Lock-N-Store, Inc., Allen successfully developed and owned two all climate-controlled self storage facilities in Montgomery, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida from 1995 through 2005. The two facilities totaled approximately 280,000 square feet of space and 1500 climate controlled units.
Allen was involved in the market studies and financial analysis for both locations including expansions at both sites. This included preparation of financial reports and pro forma analysis’ to lending institutions for initial project construction funding, subsequent expansions, and packaged refinancing. In addition, he was responsible for monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly financial results and unit lease activity via the company’s management software and accounting packages. This included initial lease up for both sites and then ongoing activity after both sites had stabilized.
Allen is a licensed realtor with Omega Properties, Inc. in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Omega Properties, Inc. is an affiliate member of the Argus Self Storage Sales Network which specializes in self storage brokerage. Allen covers central and east Tennessee for Omega.
Allen earned a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Alabama in 1985 and a MBA from Auburn University where he graduated in 1987.
Ann Toliver, CSSM

Ann Toliver has 9 years of experience in self storage management. Prior to entering the storage business she worked in apartment management. Mrs. Toliver holds the Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM) designation and was the 2003 award winning manager of the year out of 400 self storage facilities when employed with a nationwide company.
Currently, she oversees 3500 storage units and is responsible for troubleshooting, marketing, software management and rental rate pricing of seven facilities. Mrs. Toliver is employed by Omega Properties, Inc. an affiliate of Storage South Management, LLC. She is an important asset available to Storage South Management, LLC on a consulting basis.
